We’re in good cross country skiing company ...

Are you still planning next season’s cross country skiing? It may still seem a long way off but cross country skiing options are already narrowing – the Club’s trip to the Czech Republic enjoys the same ‘full’ status as the Vasaloppet, Marcialonga and Birkebeiner in the Worldloppet series.  So here are some alternatives to consider [or add to your plans]:

Snowsport England’s Nordic Skills and Multi Activity Week 

Based at Kvitavatn in Norway, it not only offers top class tuition in a fantastic location but a great social week with other keen UK skiers.  Although it’s late in the year, the tuition is so good that most participants feel it’s a springboard to better skiing in the following season.  It’s also a real motivator to developing your roller skiing skills through the summer.  Find out more about this skills week

Totally Nordic

Run by Alan Eason, one of the UK’s top instructors who has been racing internationally for over ten years & represented Great Britain at two World Championships, there’s a choice of cross country and telemark skiing events for different abilities at Ramsau, Obertilliach and Hochfilzen in Austria.  Check out Totally Nordic's website.
