Cross country skiing and roller skiing

Join our community of cross country skiing enthusiasts based in and around the Capital and in the Cambridge area.  Find out about the benefits of joining LRNSC and more about this Club

Join and learn to roller ski - it's great for fitness and fun, plus it's the best way to prepare for cross country skiing.  There are sessions for children as well as tasters, courses and general training/practice sessions for adults. We also organise roller ski races. And you can cross country ski with us.  Plus you can discover cross country ski racing.

Book September roller ski taster, learn to roller ski & intermediate coaching, classic time trial & Cambridge sessions

Booking is now open for our: September roller ski sessions at Hillingdon Cycle Circuit in west London. On 4/9 we kick off the season with a roller ski taster, children's session, intermediate classic coaching, and you can also do your own training/practice if you prefer.

Reminder for members - register for our AGM on 4/9

Current members of LRNSC have already been invited to the Club's Annual General Meeting on Sunday 4 September - you can find more information about the meeting here and a link to register to attend here.

The AGM will take place in person from 1400-1545 at the club house at Hillingdon Cycle Circuit, 11-12 Springfield Road, Hayes UB4 0LP,  and online via Zoom.

3/7 Roller ski race results 24/12/6km FT GB series 

You can see the results here. In the 24km race congratulations go to the male winners Jordan Andrews [Hyde Park], Szymon Orlowski [LRNSC], Eric Jackson [Hyde Park] and to Marek Pasterny [LRNSC], who came 4th and also won his age class.

17/7 Cambridge Busway roller ski tour and 23/7 Herts summer walk

Join Club members for a 40km round trip from St Ives - Cambridge - St Ives, or just 10 or 20km if you catch the bus from Longstanton or Cambridge. It's a great opportunity for a longer roller ski on good tarmac through undulating countryside. See all the details and please register [no charge] asap so we know who's coming along.

You can see the results here. Congratulations go to Matthew Chronicle [Wessex], Martin Watkins [Wessex] and Szymon Orlowski [LRNSC] who took the first 3 overall places, and Holly Rees-Lay [Hyde Park], Zara Stewart [Wessex] and Emma Brant [Hyde Park] who were the first 3 females.
