Why should you join LRNSC?
Find out about the benefits of being a member.
Where do our events take place in England?
Our main base for roller skiing is in west London at Hillingdon Cycle Circuit and we also organise sessions in the Cambridge area .
Who does what?
Club members elect a chairperson and committee annually to run the Club on their behalf. All are volunteers. The chairperson can be elected to hold that office for up to 3 years.
You can see who's on the current committee on the Who's who page.
How is the Club run?
An AGM is held annually for which members must be given at least 2 months notice. On the agenda are approval of the previous AGM minutes, annual report and accounts, plus motions submitted by the committee and members, and election of committee members.
Committee meetings are held around every 2-3 months to agree and plan the Club's activities. You can read the Club constitution here.
Snowsport England affiliated
LRNSC is a member of Snowsport England [SE], the National Governing Body for snowsports in England. This means that our activities are fully insured, as are our instructors who are also CRB checked.
A LRNSC representative sits on SE's Nordic Key Committee so we have the opportunity to influence SE activities.
Duty of care - child protection
The Club ensures a duty of care to all our members by adopting and implementing the “Snow Safe” Policy, Snowsport England’s Policy for Safe-guarding Children, and any future versions of the Policy.
You can read this policy document in the policies section on Snowsport England's website.
