Beginners roller ski course - book your place
Learn to roller ski - the aim is to get you rolling safely and give you foundation from which you can develop your skiing. On the five session course you'll learn the basics of classic technique [diagonal stride] on the first three sessions then skating will be introduced for the last two, focusing on balance and co-ordination.
If you're a novice roller ski and want to improve your specific skills you can book 'any 5 sessions' and choose which ones you'd like to attend.
Your aim will be Snowsport England Proficiency Award 1 or 2* - if you register you can be assessed for this scheme - ask your instructor for details.
Intermediates coaching - book your place
This will be tailored to participants' needs and cover the full range of classic or skating techniques according to the session date.
The aim will be to help you ski better, more efficiently and with less (wasted) effort. This is for competent roller skiers who want to refresh/refine/improve their sking skills. Also an optional informal roller ski tour usually takes place after the coached session.
If you register for Snowsport England Proficiency Awards you can be assessed for this scheme - ask your instructor for details.
