Saturday 25 January - Twilight roller ski tour in Richmond Park
4.30pm Saturday 25 January
Come on a twilight roller ski tour of Richmond Park
As we had to cancel our December tour due to bad weather we've rescheduled this event. Come and join in the fun when Club roller skiers will meet at Richmond Park for a tour of the park by torchlight. It's a relaxed and informal event which provides a good opportunity to meet other members. The roads close to traffic at dusk and so at 4.30pm we start outside Sheen Gate for a circular tour of the park, a distance of about 7.5 miles.
With no traffic to worry about and plenty of space we take a leisurely pace. We stop regularly to regroup with a break halfway to enjoy cakes and gluhwein at one of the park's viewpoints.
The tour is usually over by about 6.30pm. Afterwards there is the option of a trip to a local Indian restaurant.
