The Skadi Bodenmais Wintersports Club have invited us to the Skadi Loppet which takes place 13 - 15.03.09. Members may recall we hosted some of their members at our summer roller ski race.
Skadi Loppet is a very good race and a member of the Euroloppet series. It is run over 42 and 21 km in Classical Technique and 30 km in Free Technique on 'traditional' cross-country courses, up and down through the forest. Bodenmais is about an hour by train or car to the east of Munich, the nearest international airport, so it is quite feasible to get back to Munich and then home on Sunday after the last race.
